Today marks the launch of Brand Identity Revival. Designer Tribune’s first monthly challenge is designed to help budding African brand identity designers showcase their unique craft and gain real visibility.
Challenge Overview:
Revive a dormant or outdated brand identity, i.e think of a local African business, historical icon, personal project, or any forgotten brand, with a fresh, modern redesign. Breathe new life into logos, colour schemes, packaging, visual systems, or any core brand element.

How to Enter
- Choose a dormant or outdated brand
- Create your refreshed brand identity
- Write a 100–200 word story about your process and inspiration
- Submit your entry using the form below
Accepted Formats
- High-res images/mockups (JPEG, PNG)
- Multi-page layouts or process docs (PDF)
- Optional short Reel (MP4, 15–60 sec before/after)
- Max 10 files, 100 MB each
Deadline February 28th, 2026 (midnight WAT)
What Happens Next? We review all entries. Top submissions (judged by engagement + DT team) will be featured on our Showcase page and socials. Mid-challenge shoutouts for early entries!
